Preclinical Models and Analysis Tools Laboratory

The Preclinical Models and Analysis Tools Laboratory of CIMA, since its creation in 2004, develops a dual work of support and own research in the area of cell and animal image analysis, and the development of preclinical models based on microfluidics for the study of cancer. Through this activity it has achieved a wide scientific production, leading 14 national and international research projects granted in competitive call for tenders and disseminating its scientific results through more than 70 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, some of them in prestigious journals such as Nature Genetics, Nature Methods, Bioinformatics or the IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging.
