ACP
Advanced Computational Physics
The ACP is a research group created at the end of 2017 in order to join the complementary expertise and skills of researchers at the UIB that deal with the topic of Advanced Computational Physics with the aim to tackle more demanding and cutting edge problems. The experience of the group ranges from Soft Matter, Material Science, Computational Biomechanics, Rheology and Biofluidics to relativity and parallelized models for exascale computation. One of the group research lines is computational biomechanics: fluid-structure interaction and multiscale simulations. The researcher in charge of this research line is currently Carles Bona Casas.
