DNA breaks are a potentially catastrophic form of DNA damage that can lead to cell death, premature ageing and cancer. Our team aims to answer key questions in dsDNA break repair and chromosome organisation using single molecule approaches based on Atomic Force Microscope, Magnetic Tweezes, Fluorescence and Confocal Optical Tweezers.
