We are a multidisciplinary team of scientists who are interested on how mechanical forces determine the pathological changes that define the tumor microenvironment at a molecular, cellular and tissue levels. We strive to manipulate the mechanics of solid tumors and the mechanical properties of tumor cells to improve anti-cancer therapies, with emphasis on the role of forces in the behavior of immune cells within the tumor context. At the same time, we provide strong scientific training in the context of the oldest and most traditional University in Spain, University of Salamanca.
